Setting Up Your Account and Campaign

Managing your account settings and campaigns can be done through the Giving Impact Dashboard. The Dashboard is your control panel to create, monitor and manage your campaigns.


Integrating Giving Impact with your Website

We believe online fundraising is best offered and delivered seamlessly from your website. This allows your brand and fundraising creativity to shine through. Giving Impact’s API brings all data and functionality directly to your website to power these seamless experiences.

How Do You Want to Present Your Campaign?

Your development leaders in combination with design and technical resources can decide how you want to present your online fundraising opportunities.

  • Do you want to create a huge and colorful donation button?
  • Do you want to have team pages that showcase the team’s targets and current totals?

Smart Hosted Functionality

In addition to the campaign data, the API connects to smart hosted features to save your team critical time and budget to create and manage.

  • Donation Processing Pages: These hosted pages include your organization and campaign’s branding, campaign settings including donation levels and custom data collection fields, copy and imagery to communicate campaign or team messaging, and deliver a secure and quick to complete donation payment experience.

Practical Advice to get Started

  1. Campaign Plans/Ideas: Have one or more campaign ideas that you have implemented or plan to implement in mind
  2. Get to Know the Dashboard: Read through these docs or after signing up create campaigns to see how you would manage and configure them through the Dashboard
  3. Get to Know the API: Have a technical resource review the API docs and create a website integration plan
  4. Rally the Team: Involve your brand, design, marketing, and/or communication resources to collaborate with your technical resource to craft the messaging, look, and feel for your integration
  5. Engage!
